Jet Boating

Around fifty years ago Bill Hamilton a legendary south Island farmer had a dream. He owned a property that was criss crossed by shallow braided rivers and he had a need to navigate them. So with good old kiwi inguinity he invented a new concept in boating. He devised a way of sucking up water underneath the boat and forcing it out through the stern - the Jet Boat was born. Because of the abscence of a propeller the highly manoeuvrable jet boat is able to ride on water as little as ten centimetres deep, this makes for a breath taking ride.

These days there many options for jet boating all offering something a little bit unique. Some companies even provide a combination of jet boating and kyaking.
